Coleman, who is the director of training and head trainer at Pvolve, works with Aniston “several times a week” for about an hour, depending on her client’s busy schedule. “Jen is really consistent with her workouts. [During] my time with her, she wants a tough and challenging workout,” she told Page Six.
She explained that she uses a method that focuses on low-impact conditioning and concentrates on “stability, mobility, and strength for her entire body,” according to Coleman, using a precision mat and resistance-based equipment, including hand weights, ankle weights, ankle bands, and floor gliders.
“We do a lot of core work. We really focus on that 360-degree total core strength, again, to keep her body upright and moving in the long term. [There are] some cardio pushes in the middle and some light plyometric work,” the personal trainer added.
Coleman also shared that Aniston enjoys a mix of modeling and progressive weight training, involving the use of heavier weights to work on both upper and lower body. “The formats in our workouts are a sort of hybrid of all our signature formats, between strength and modeling, modeling and burning, and progressive weight training.”
“So we also do some weightlifting to help her build muscle mass and bone density, with a real focus on the longevity of her body,” she explained, adding that she finishes the workout with a good stretching and recovery session. “They always say: ‘Sweat, don’t [break] your body,'” Coleman concluded.
